SEMA BATTLE OF THE BUILDERS PROJECT
The following is a testimonial offered by a first-time entrant into the SEMA Battle of the Builders. Modern DriveLine is impressed with Thomas’s skill & the quality of this 1967 GT350. MDL we’re just a small part of this beautiful machine and wanted to feature this great build. Below are a few words from Thomas about his interaction with MDL “Modern driveline supplied me with the updated modern capabilities of a newer style clutch in my 1967 Shelby Mustang GT350. Their system is designed with the ability for the end-user to adapt it into their already finished Mustang if needed. In my case, I used the parts ahead of time to fit everything up. I am very pleased with the performance of the clutch system using hydraulics over the cable system. The biggest thing you will notice is how smooth the clutch pedal is as before. Personally, as this is my career as a young and upcoming builder, I look for companies that make a great product but more importantly back up their work. Modern Driveline’s service is far beyond what you will encounter in today’s industry. I had the opportunity to call them regularly when I was in the mock-up stage of my build and ask them any questions I desired. They always had an answer for me and provided me with the most helpful information to get my system working. If you’re interested in using Modern DriveLine, you chose a great company to use for your 5-6 speed conversion and I do not think you will be disappointed. If you want a look at how it all goes together check out my Instagram build page at @67shelby_thomasdickerson I had the opportunity to attend SEMA 2021 as a Young Gun in Battle of the Builders and earned Top 40 overall. Modern Driveline got me going with their clutch system and I have been pleased with it” Thomas D.
